I have recently upgraded to a new motherboard and the image of my
system is one from my company. Currently, when I shut down, I get
the "it's now safe to turn off you system" message. I had this
problem with the prevoius system as well but am wondering... Is there
a way to update Windows XP with this functionality?? I believe this
was a change on the part of who ever created the image. I've tried
the verifying that the APM is loaded and enabled in the BIOS but the
"enable APM features" does not show up in the power management area.
Is there a way to get this correct way of shutting down the system
back without reloading windows??

Help!!

Thanks,
Derek

Sounds like the motherboard drivers didn't get installed.
