Hello all. I think I made a boo boo!! My computer was getting slower and slower and that little hour glass symbol pops up too often so I thought I would re-install Win XP Pro cleaning the drive and start as new. So I started the computer, put my XP Pro
disc in the drive, it asked me what I wanted to do, I said re-install xp and off it went. It asked me for the key, I entered that, it continued on some more and then shuts down, restarts and initialises from the CD. Just when it gets to the part where its
ready to install and I have to press "enter" to do so, it shuts down again. I restart it manually and again when it gets to where i have to "ENTER" to continue, it shuts down again. I tried the same with xp Home Edition but the same thing happens before "ENTER".
So now i cant use the computer at all. This is a custom built computer from 2007. All I get now is a blue screen while its configuring and before I "ENTER" its shuts down. Any help please.
