I already have posted an item, but no response,

I reinstaled a windows xp OEM but it has that problem of the
"activation/automatic logout/Login/activation/automatic logout...

I tryed with another OEM and i had no problem...

can it be a problem with the Serial number of the product? Can somebody help
me?

Did you call Microsoft when the 1st activation failed?

There are different OEM versions of Windows XP. What type is this one?
Is it a Microsoft OEM version for PC computers without operating systems?
Or is it a branded, e.g., Dell, Compaq, Gateway, etc., version? Also,
the COA Product Key must match the specific version of Windows XP that
is being installed.

If the serial number is accepted, then it must be correct. however, if it can't
activate automatically over the internet, then you need to pick up the phone and
ring MS for manual activation.

If your system is is continuously re-booting then this points to corrupt
installation. You need to try clean install again by first formatting the HD.
This assumes you don't have anything else on your system that needs to be
copied.

Lisa - Microsoft doesn't support OEM versions of their operating systems.
The OP will need to contact the OEM distributor for that type of support.
