Not sure if this is caused by virus or malware, but my XP computer suddenly froze, and when I restarted it, it would freeze in the login screen and I am unable to login in. After this I tried to open in safe mode (pressing f8), however the options menu that should appear was replaced with just a small menu letting me select the boot device (HDD, CD ROM, and 1st Floppy Drive) instead of the usual open in safe mode/open with networking etc, and choosing any would just boot as normal and the same freezing would occur.
