Just formatted HD on my daughters computer. Reinstalled XP without problems
and initial bootup was fine. Ran Windows update, followed instructions and
installed 63 updates. Followed instruction to restart and system would not
reboot. Was not even able to restart in safe mode. Seemed to be in a loop
where system would continue to reset and start all over but could never load
Windows.
Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

Ray, start over. I know it's a pain in the butt but since you just
reinstalled it won't take that long. Next time, select a few
updates at a time and not all 63 at one time. I would run a drive
diagnostic. Make sure it's not flaky.
