Windows Vista Continuously Reboots After Software Installation

I'm sorry if this is the wrong place to be asking about Windows Vista.
If it is, please let me know what the correct group is because I
couldn't find it.

Anyway, I installed TortoiseSVN client on my Vista laptop yesterday, and
it had me reboot. Now it will continuously reboot once it gets to the
login screen. Even if I try to login quickly, it tells me my password
is incorrect and proceeds to reboot again (it reboots even if I don't
try to login and just leave it alone).

I can boot with "Last Known Good Configuration" just fine. All my
programs are there and everything works like it should, eve TortoiseSVN.
But, the next time I reboot, it goes back into its endless reboot cycle.

How can I make the "Last Known Good Configuration" stick, or otherwise
fix this problem.

Just an FYI, I have run the diagnostics from the boot menu and it didn't
find anything wrong.

Thank you!

Brian

Brian, try uninstalling the TortoiseSVN. If that corrects the problem
then there may be a compatiblity issue.
