I had a hard disk go bad a few days before the April 8 end of XP support. So I installed a new disk and reinstalled XP Pro, then sp2, then AVG2014 Free, then Microsoft Download Manager, then sp3, then IE8. I then turned on automatic updates but it did not work. I tried to go to automatic updates directly via control panel but get the following message:
The website has encountered a problem and cannot display the page you are trying to view. The options provided below might help you solve the problem.
I tried many different things from this web sight but nothing refers to the following [Error number: 0x80245001]
Any ideas?
