The website has encountered a problem and cannot display the page you are
trying to view. The options provided below might help you solve the problem.

I have Windows XP SP2 and have not been able to successfully get any updates
as I keep getting the error above when I go to windows update. I have tried
all the suggestions that has been offered (no static ip or dns settings all
are set to obtain automatically), added update and ms to trusted site,
enabled active x settings, set host file, turned off firewall, no
accelerators or spyware running, even installed and ran fixwareout. The
report.txt from fixwareout shows:

Wondering if it's an issue with Parallel Desktop 3.0 for Mac. Running XP on
Mac OS X Ver 10.5.3

Any other suggestions?

Thanks
Jules

I actually finally figured it out. As I thought it was Parallel Desktop
causing the issue. I had it set to shared network which for some reason
causes the error I set the settings to bridge network and it works now.

So if anyone else has the error and is running Parallel Deskop build 55xx
and above this is causing the problem. Apparently build 51xx does not have
this problem.
