Windows Start up Music

I have a question about how to assign a song to the windows start up screen.
I have spent several days fixing my wife's computer and I wish to leave her
something to remind her how hard this project was. I wish to have the song
"Who Let the Dogs out" by Baha Men play everytime she start Windows. I think
this would be so funny. In looking at the sounds that can be played, it
would seem you can only assign a *.wav file for any sound that Windows plays
when a certain keystroke or action is performed. Is this correct? Can't you
assign a song (MP3) to be played when keystrokes or actions are done within
Windows? If not, Microsoft, pay attention! I think that the ability of this
would be a wonderful addition to your basic package.

I'm not aware of the system allowing .mp3 files, but you can easily change
out a .wav file. Just convert the mp3 file into a wav. From there go to
Control Panel --> Sounds and Audio Devices --> Sounds tab. Toward the bottom
is a listing that includes "Start Windows". You can browse to the wav file
you want to use and tell it to apply the changes. That's it.

This explanation is for the WinXP operating system. If you use another one
you should probably state that since the method will be similar but not
exaclty the same.
 
You wish to have to song"Who let the dogs out"play on bootup?
Just HOW much of that song do you think you would get to hear?
Not much of it.
Startup sound(.wav)is not a full song.
Startup wavs have to be short.
1, you need to convert the mp3 to .wav format.
2, saving/renaming it as a .wav will not work.
3, even after converting the song to .wav format then you will soon find out
why using full song files aint a good idea
