I have an OEM Windows XP Home Edition. I downloaded both the ISO and the network version of Windows SP3 from the Microsoft update website. I tried the ISO version first and it failed to logon to Windows with an error that said the product key was invalid for this media type. I restored back to SP2 in safe mode. I unmounted and deleted the ISO. I tried the networking version for IT pros and got the same error after the restart. How can I fix this so that I can successfully run SP3? I just restored back to SP2 again.
