I uninstalled Norton 360. I installed AVG and when the installation
completed, there was 1 error. The Windows Firewall was not turned on. I can
not get the Security Center to turn on the Firewall. It will not update the
Settings for the Firewall either.

I figured it out. I was able to turn it on manually and had to update the
Windows Defender. I had a lot of problems with Vista and Norton 360 and
decided to uninstall and see if that was my problem. I hate Vista.

Hi, i've got the same problem.
it seems that Vista gets "stucked" whenever i try to set up Firewall or any
other update.
in addition, it stucks again when i try to: move a file into a folder, put a
file into the trash, and so on.
If anybody can help me whit this problem i'll be appreciated.

If you have or have had anything Norton then see this link and remove this
crapware from your system.
