I recently got an HTC Touch Pro 2, and it is currently running OS Version 5.2. I am trying to update it from my PC that runs Win7 Ultimate (64bit).
When I first plugged it into my computer, I was prompted to install Windows Mobile Device Manager, which I did. I also soon after installed the Zune software on my PC to update my phone.
Now when I connect via USB, my computer recognizes the phone as a storage device, but Zune wont recognize it, and often crashes when I ask to play the phones files in it, and Windows Mobile Manager won't recognize that the phone is plugged in at all.
Am I stuck with a crappy phone that wont update?
