Hello,
we have some Windows CE devices (these are not mobile phones) which need Windows Mobile Device Center to synchronze some data between Windows 7 and these devices. Therefore I've downloaded the current Windows Mobile Device Center version 6.1.6965 for Windows Vista/7 64 Bit.
Now the problems starts: The software can't be installed without connecting the Windows CE device to the computer. After the Windows CE device has been connected, it seems that the software is installed, there are shortcuts within the Start Menu, but when I want to open the Windows Mobile Device Center, the computer does ... nothing.
Even the synchronization software of the Windows CE device tells me that the Windows Mobile Device Center is still not installed on the system. And the Windows CE device still can't be detected.
I saw that lots of other people have this problem, but I didn't find any real solution for this. Are there any news for this issue?
