Hi all,
I am trying to make certain changes to the registry under the HKLM\Comm directory and according to Microsoft these are considered "protected from normal applications" (see below).
However, under WM6 Professional, I have no problem making the changes I need to.* Its only on Smartphone WM6 Standard (considered two-tier protected?) that I can't.* I am using the Microsoft remote tools - Remote Registry Editor.* After trying to connect it says, "A connection could not be made because the device actively refused it" or something to that effect.* Any ideas?* Is the only way to get a certificate from the OEM?
Thanks in advance
Nick
