Windows Media Player

All of a sudden, whenever I minimised WMP, it shows up on my bottom taskbar,
near the clock, as a miniature version of itself. I don't like it like this
at all! When I minimise it, I like to just minimise it like a normal browser
window. Know what I mean? Please advise?

That's because you've turned on the WMP toolbar. You can disable it by
right-clicking somewhere on the taskbar (not on a button), go to "Toolbars"
and uncheck "Windows Media Player".

Right click on your taskbar, Toolbars, deselect Windows Media Player
toolbar.
