Windows Media Player Playlist Count Limit?

When I view the playlist in the media library, the "count" displayed seems
limited to 99,999. (The count field seems to only accommodate five digits.)
Is this a Windows Media Player restriction? If so, is there some way to work
around this?

If it's a music play list and each song is 3 minutes long, 99,999 items would take 208 days to play if played
24/7.

That's a lot of music.
