Is there any way that someone will fix the bug with media file sound settings
while playing the media in WMP?? It has been around quite some time now
(versions) and it is REALLY annoying..

To reproduce:
Play media file.
Set sound mute (click on speaker icon).
Seek another position.
You get: sound volume 100%.
You should get: no sound.

Any way You set the sound, WMP just resets it to maximum value.

mine does not do that, either the WMP 11 mute button, or the global (tray)
mute button - it stays muted.

I'd say you have a non-wmp11 issue, most likely your sound driver.

More info needed...

I have dell xps m1210 with Vista Home (32bit) and when im playing mp3 files,
it cracks at almost at the end of the song, i mean all songs that i played.
any help to fix this, don't have this problem before with previous laptop
with XP.
thanks a lot.
