windows media player 11 wont play my windows media music any more.

i purchased music in windows media player a few years ago cant play it a message comes up click om i already own it it takes me to a sight the sight says media usage rights acquisition. could it possible be that i lost the digital rights to this music. i don't understand why if i purchased it i cant listen.
