Windows Media Player 11 - Grey borders in fullscreen

When I maximise to fullscreen in WM11, the widescreen borders top and bottom
are a grey colour rather than black. I havent changed any default settings in
WM, and the blacks in the fullscreen interface are perfect. The media files
are encoded in widescreen so the borders are not part of the files
themselves. I have tried some other media players, and they produce the black
borders perfectly.
How can I change these borders to black in WM?

Thanks

Hey,

I have the same problem, can you tell me what is your computer
configuration so we can compare it to mine.
I have:
intel c2duo processor
Geil ram 4gb
Asus p5kc
BFG geforce 8800gt 512
215tw samsung
windows vista ultimate 32 bit (updatet)
windows media player 11 (updated)

i suspect it must be a wmp 11 bug, cos i have tried different drivers
for my 8800gt, and other video players and they work just fine.

regards, Klemen
