Hi,

Have xp, win media 11.

When clicking on videos to watch I get the following:

Windows Media Player cannot play the file. If the file is located on the
Internet, connect to the Internet. If the file is located on a removable
storage card, insert the storage card

If I go back to the link and repeat process (click, get error, close error
msg, click on video) if do that 4 or 5 times will play.

All file types are selected in wmp 11 (i always double check and always are.)

Does anyone know how to resolve this issue. Is same for any video I play on
wmp11.

Thanks!
Casey

click the bottom of the ‘Now Playing’ button for a drop down menu. In that
menu, select Plug Ins, and Options. In the options window, select the Player
tab, and check the item Connect to the Internet (Overrides other commands)
and OK.

Or Tools menu > Options > Player tab > Connect to the internet
