Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool showing Error Codes

After running this Tool I am getting reports of Error Codes 0x00000005 and
0x00000057. Can anyone advise please? I am using Vista Home Premium SP1.
 
Removing a virus or spyware infection has probably damaged some of your
system files. Run 'SFC /SCANNOW'
Some Windows Vista functions may not work, or Windows Vista may stop

Thanks for you reply. I ran sfc /scanow and no problems were found.
