Windows Defender Problem

Take a look at the following screenshot.





Is that normal or what? Since 5 hours, the Windows Defender has scanned only that much and it is still continuing.



How much time does it take to complete the scanning? (The one from the above image)


Should I abort the scanning or wait until the scanning finishes?


Note that I won't abort the scan until someone replies to this thread and asks me to abort.


I am using Windows 8.1 SL x64


Suggestions please.
