Hi all,
Recently I wanted to slim down my XP Home Edition by removing some Windows
Components such as Games and Calculator and so on.
However, I've decided to re-install some of these components through
Add/Remove Windows Components. But I keep getting the same error message for
many files:
For example:
'Setup cannot copy the file PINBALL.EXE'
If I browse to the directory where they are supposed to be, then all the
files are there. So, if I look in directory
'c:\windows\ServicePackFiles\i386' I see that PINBALL.EXE is right there.
Now, I noticed that these files were all compressed with the Disk Cleanup
tool, but I can't imagine this blocks them for being copied.
What can I try?
Thanks.
