Windows 8: Rip music off a CD and onto Windows 8. How to get the music ALSO on the desktop.

How do I rip music onto Windows 8? I did it before, but I can't remeber how to. And not just on the 'Music App'. I need it on the desktop too, but I can't remeber how to do it (for easier access).
