It's Feb 2014 and I have this same "games pending" issue as others have reported. I followed the steps as others suggested and I've found command prompt but as soon as I enter step 1 of the alleged solution, this is what happens: Command prompt defaults to C:\users\derek> so I type in: net stop wuauserv and I get a system error 5 saying "access denied". Please give steps for a way around this. Many thanks.
