Lately, I have tried to upgrade to Windows 8 from Windows 7 Home Premium and I get this error message: "We Can't Connect Right Now, Check Your Internet Connection And Try Again." This is really frustrating because I just purchased this new Windows and now it says my internet connection isn't working??? My internet connection is working fine I think it is a product key error. I have spoken with the ESD Support and everyone I spoke to failed to resolve my issue. I have made sure my PROXY in internet explorer settings is disabled and that my firewall protection is disabled while trying to install/download the software and still get the same error message. I even tried hooking my laptop up straight into the internet cable to receive direct connection and the setup still failed and I got the same error message. Can support give me a new activated product key and deactivate the old product key??? I purchased this Windows 8 product through Microsoft.com. I don't understand why it is saying my internet connection isn't working and I am starting to wonder if my product key I bought is invalid because I have read other issues online saying that was the problem and they received a new product key through Microsoft/Windows Services via phone or via support/email. Can anybody help me resolve my issue using the following details above?
