windows 8 crashes google search engine

Since I downloaded Explorer 8, I can no longer access Google form my
desktop. It opens and then a shade comes over it and shuts down.
However if I am within my IP I can use the Google search engine. Why
can't I access Google outside of my IP toolbar?

There is neither any "Windows Explorer 8" nor a released version of
"Internet Explorer 8". Whatever you were downloading is most suspect.

Not sure where you got 8 from but you sound surprised that it's not
working for you.

He means MSN Explorer 8 I would expect.

The link there is for 9 which replaced 8 back in 2004! So whatever "8"
he was referring to is still suspect!
