Original title: WIN 8 BOOT ON TOSHIBA SATELLITE
Hi - I have upgraded to Win 8 on my Toshiba Satellite laptop. Now when I boot the laptop it shows the initial Windows screen but won't complete the process to the Lock screen or Start screen. The screen is black and won't go any further. I have to press the power off button and hopefully get to go to standby mode (i.e. when power light flashes). Then I have to press the button to take it out of standby which then will display the Lock screen.
Does anyone have any ideas on what setting could be causing this. I've looked in the BIOS boot but can't find anything there. Also can't find anything obvious in Win PC settings
