Hi there,
Having an issue with Automatic Maintenance ever since I returned from a 10 day vacation to Greece.
Basically Action Center is telling me to run maintenance to optimize my computer, I run it and then around 15 minutes later, it stops and the message just reappears saying I need to run maintenance. The only things that take up any CPU during the maintenance are the Service Host: Disk Defragmenter and System. The run date is also clocked properly.
I tried to System Restore to a date before I went on vacation (back when it was working perfectly fine) and then perform the maintenance, however the same thing happened. Although it said this time my anti virus was out of date, I'm assuming that was purely because of the Restore though. It was disabled during part of the maintenance and then turned back on.
I went into Task Scheduler and it says the following next to Regular Maintenance: "The operator or administrator refused the request. (0x800710E0)"
I'm honestly not sure what to do now, I can simply hide the message but that won't get rid of the issue. I don't understand how it could be fine on June 21st, but not be fine when I return on July 1st, I've been trying for 2 days to fix this but nothing works as of right now.
I'm still trying now but any help would be appreciated, this is really bugging me.
Thanks for reading.
