I recently had a hard drive issue in my Dell Inspiron N7010, and I needed to replace the entire hard drive. After doing so, I redeemed windows 7 using the disk I had, and Windows 7 (pro) installed fine. However, several things had happened. For some reason, my monitor won't go over a resolution of 1152x864 on my 17" monitor! It used to, however now it won't. Windows 7 also won't let me activate aero, because it says that my Graphics card doesn't support it! (I know for a fact it did, considering I haven't changed it since I replaced my hard drive, and aero worked fine then)
If there are any fixes to those issues, I would gladly appreciate it.
