I am trying to get the WAIK to work with Windows 7 Enterprise install.wim in order to create the catalog file. I have copied the windows image and the catalog file to my workstation windows 7 install into a spare drive. When I open up AIK it tells me that it cannot use the catalog file that was present (which I copied off of the DVD) and that it must create a new one. The reason it gives has something to do with the version being incorrect in the catalog file.
The problem arises when I allow the AIK to generate a new catalog file. It gets about 20 percent complete and stops. Sometime it just hangs until I kill it and others it generates an error message with the following, including an error log.
Error message: "There was an error generating a catalog file for image Windows 7 ENTERPRISE in Windows Image file G:\Images\7\install.wim. Details: Unknown Error(0xc1420127)
