Windows 2003 server

has anybody here seen where Ie7 does not run properly

when it loads on my server it takes 99 pct of the cpu
and just hangs

firefox on the same machine works fine....
i also re-installed ie7 and same problem

it just sits there and up top says Connecting but it is not doing anything
but hogging cpu 99pct

any ideas

I had this a few times with various spec PC's.

The way i found was to not download it from windows update but to download
the full exe and install from it.

This sorted it for me.

Chris....i downloaded IE7 Installed it fresh...
still gets half loaded and take 99pct of cpu

i did try it in safe mode and ie7 works just fine
so i has to be some plug in....

any ideas where to look

i found the problem..it was atool bar that was causing the 99pct cpu problem
even after i removed all toolbars..some junk code was still hanging around
