The other OEM disk has a unique serial number. Try that one.

Re: Windõws XP OEM Ãctivation Pro~blem

Unfortunately you need to contact the distributor of the OEM version of XP.
Microsoft does not support the Product Key for OEM versions.

Microsoft does offer support for OEM activations.

product activated ok, (and ask me to activate again) is a problem that goes
far of the activation...

did work ok...
I think i am goimg to buy another OS

thanks

Does anybody have more ideas for the resolution of this problem??

What is the make and model of your client's PC? What Service Pack level
did it have (in the beginning *and* most recently)? Did it originally
come with an OEM installation of XP Pro? If not, what did it come with?
What kind of CD are you using to install XP? Did you perform a repair
install or a clean install? What do you mean by the statement "I tryed
with another OEM and i have no problem..."? Which product key are you
using? Does your client's PC have a COA (Certificate of Authenticity)
sticker on it? If so, is that the product key you are using? (I assume
that when you say "serial," you are referring to the product key. Is
this correct?)

Finally, what exactly do you mean by the statement "i reinstaled a win
XP Pro OEM but it has the problem of the activation -> automatic logoff,
activation ->automatic logoff."?
