I just installed win 8.1 and seems to have left me with less control than ever. I can't turn off auto. maintenance and I went through previous post on deleting the tree but this left maintenance unable to start manually. Also when on a secure intranet I always turn off several windows processes from the task manager because of high 3-D content but now it says 'operation could not be completed, access is denied. This did not occur w/ win 8. I have all admin control. Please help,
