WIn NT Backup Problem

Hi all I need help with Windows NT Backup.

I normally use Veritas or Arcserve but for a while I need to use NTBackup.

The server is Win2K3 with Exchange2K3. I need to backup both the Win &
Exchange servers.

I can perform this task manually but when I try to schedule the task it
NEVER works.

The error I ALWAYS get is

"Cannot locate the specified media or backup device. This backup operation
will terminate."

I have used the Wizard to create the backup job and schedule it but it still
won't work.

The actual Scheduled task looks like this

"C:\WIN~\ntbackup.exe backup "@C:\Documents~\BoxBackup.bks" /v:no /r:no
/rs:no /hc:on /m normal /j "AppBoxBackup" /l:f /p "LTO Ultrium"

Have I missed something or is there some magic switch that I'm not using.

You won't believe this but I am having to connect remotley and start the
task manually every night at the moment so your help would be GREATLY
appreciated.

Try the /um switch for unmanaged backups.

You missed it because Microsoft did not include it in the help
file for ntbackup.exe under Windows Server 2003. Perhaps
they're trying to phase it out . . .
