I was wondering if anyone could help me with this. I tried this question in
the WMP forum and got 0 replies.

I'm using WMP11 to display a slide show of jpg files. I can get to the area
where there is a play speed slider and buttons to change the presentation
speed, but nothing I do has any effect. The slider arrow only appears when I
click on the Slow, Normal, Fast buttons. I can then move the arrow but it
doesn't stay where I put it and then it disappears. And the Slow, Normal,
Fast buttons also have no effect on the slide display speed. The jpg's
always display with about 4-5 seconds interval, no matter what I try.

Also, if you don't click on Slow, Normal or Fast, there is no slider arrow
even displayed which seems wrong.

I'd appreciate any help.

Thanks, but it didn't work. The script ran fine. I changed the slide show
timeout to a noticeably longer length and there's no difference. I rebooted
and tried again no better. The 4-5 seconds default never changes.

There is a message when the script runs referencing changing this timeout
value in a specific folder and how I must run it "in" the folder. Something
like that. I have no idea what that means.
