All of my files are on the network F drive. Therefore, when I open Win
Explorer to find a file, I hate the fact that it always starts with
MyDocuments. So I changed that to the F:\ drive and that was a big
improvement because now I always start out whrere I want.

However, I lost the 2 Pane view, Win Explorer now open with a Single Pane
view just like MyComputer. I know I can click on the Folder Icon to return to
the 2 Pane View but I can't figure out how to make the 2 Pane view my default
so it always opens with 2 Panes.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Robert

In Windows Explorer > Tools > Folder Options,
File Type tab,
Scroll down to Folder (NOT File Folder),
Click 'Advanced',
Highlight 'Explore'.
Click 'Set as default'
OK out.

This should open any folder to the two-pane view.

Hope this is what you want.
