Why has my video quality deterioted after installing Vista SP1 RC?

After installing Vista SP1 RC today my video quality has deteriorated. I have
unistalled and then reinstalled my Nvidia 7800 GTX card and drivers after
using Driver Seep to get rid of all old drivers. I get a jerky video in .wmv
and .avi videos in WMP11 and I also get faint vertical lines on videos in VLC
Media Player. There is also a discernable quality loss in Quicktime movies of
all kind even the h1080p size.

I even went through the pain of uninstalling SP1 RC to verify that something
else wasn't wrong! :(

This is very frustrating as this would be the last type of problem I thought
I would encounter after installing Vista SP1 RC!

Any help, fixes or acknowledgement that this is a know problem would be
great! :)

Remember that SP1 is still essentially in 'test' mode until the release of
the RTM. You might also want to make nVidia aware of your problems..
