Why does my Win7 64bit Home Premium new install NOT see/utilze all processors? (Issue-1, Win7 64bit New Install)
System: DELL Precision T5500 ACPI x64, (8) Xeon E5520 2.27 GHz Processors, (2) 250gb H/D's, 8gb of memory
Just installed, ( 15 APR 14 - clean formatted partition), Win 7 Home Premium 64bit on a system previously running XP. Under XP, the System Information indicated (8) processors and I could view (8) processors from the Windows Task Manager, Performance tab 'CPU Usage History'.
With Win7, I only see (4) processors.
Why has this changed? What should I do to correct this??
