Why does my , IMG The Magnifier show a black wondow on some websites

I am using XP, IE 8, &amp Firefox. IMG The Magnifier When i enter the websites of my banks or building society and ebay,
there are others, the magnification window goes black.
On the majority of Websites the magnifier work well.
