Since the last Cumulative Security Windows Update for XP, my computer (which is on AutoUpdate!) will not update itself. It does download the update, but it doesn't install it. The downloads complete, but installation fails. I've tried dozens of times,
including reverting to default settings throughout the computer, and the Microsoft Mr. Fix-It Center. Still, no Windows Updating. The Icon in the notification area of the taskbar remains, and yes, it goes through the same ring-around -the-rosey, each time I
click on it, over and over.....till I'm blue in the face. Please tell me what I can do!!!
