Windows 8 Pro X64
In Windows 7 Ultimate x64 if I start Task Manager by right clicking on the taskbar and selecting it it starts without any UAC prompt running in my security context. It is only if I click on show processes from all users that I get an UAC prompt for an administrator password.
In Windows 8 Pro x64 I get the UAC prompt when I start Task Manager by right clicking on the taskbar in the Desktop environment. Why?
