A while ago (a date I don't remember), the volume icon disappeared. Now, when I check the box to put it in the task bar, I get this message:
"Windows cannot display the volume control on the taskbar because the Volume Control program has not been installed. To install it, use the Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel"
I found some answers telling me to retrieve the program from my Windows XP installer disk. I looked for the disk but I don't have it. Is there anything else I can do?
