I got a phone call from a representative of this company saying that they were contracted by windows to do support and my computer was at risk. He said he had my license key to my computer from windows and wanted remote access to clean up the threats on
my machine.
I refused to provide access, but would like to know what the status of this comnpany is. Do they do work for microsoft? Are they legitimate?
He asked questions about how the computer was used and what my antivirus program was.
He gave me an address in Albany New York and a phone number to call back on, but I won't deal with someone calling me out of the blue without more information.
