Already have the wireless/router to 'auto scan' for best channel.

Router is DLink DI-614+
Card is Dlink DWL 520+

The signal Does connect but only for 30 seconds, then drops out for 1
minute, like a cycle. It never works all the time.

What could be causing this and how can I fix it?

thanks

might be a configuration
problem with d-link, so
you should call their
customer service

might be a problem
with you dsl service
provider, so you might
want to call their
technical support.

Sad to say but D-Link has discontinued the support offerings for these
802.11b (B) wireless devices. Unless you absolutely MUST use these
devices, you should consider replacing them for newer 802.11g (G) or
802.11n (N) devices. The newer levels of wireless G or N are faster
than B and the routers also still provide the B signals.

Be fast! Boxing "week" specials (at least in my area) are ending soon.
