I need to check for bios upgrade.Back of laptop is open but do not recognise numbers.After running windows xp upgrade advisor for windows 7 , everything of importance was okay but now I am getting error stop
after initial file upload and during black screen message windows is starting.) Error message reads Bios is not compliant with ACPI contackt vendor for update.Now I know I can forget Acer, they do not want to answer from off new so would like to track down mother board manufacture.
