Having problem installing updates, security and windows Def., changed option to "download and I would install" That does not work either. My firewalls are off, did not disable win Def though. Where are tthe downloads held for installation at my option?
I'm beginning to think there is a problem with Win 7 Pro. The updates still will not install. I had this problem before, don't know I fixed or it went away. I have an earlier post about the updates.
My win 7 ultimate machine did install it.
The particular update I'm referring to is KB 2817183, 1 of 7. Have not checked the other 6 on the Ultimate machine yet.
Oh ye knowlageable people hope you have an answer and solution.
