I have an HP Pavillion a1130n running Windows XP. I noticed that my windows XP was missing SP 3. I installed it and rebooted but windows would not load (I could get in in safe mode). I need SP 3 to load turbo tax 2011.
I have reloaded all programs and installed all windows updates except windows sp3. There are two updates that will not install:
1) Security update for windows XP (KB890859)
2) Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 SP 1 & Framework 3.5 Family update (KB951847)
