What version of Intellipoint do I have?

I'm running an explorer 4.0 here but I have no idea what version software
I'm running can anyone shed any light on how to find the out and also what
are the advantages to upgrading to 6.2?
I'm running XP Pro SP2.

Assuming you have intellipoint installed
Goto your mouse control panel,

Right click the area in the button tab close to the Microsoft IntelliPoint
graphic (above the Ok, Cancel, Apply, Help) and select About Microsoft
IntelliPoint.

Generally, I'd say the latest versions haven't added much to Intellipoint,
short of supporting (or dropping) of support for new/old Microsoft mouse
products.

OK Thanks Jason, just checked and I have 6.10, so given what you have said I
don't think I'll change things, many thanks for your help and happy
