hey guys,
Hope there is someone who is able to help me.

i have a k7vat Lucky Star mobo.
BIOS is award modular v6.00PGN

i need to update it because it sees only 136 GB out of 320 GB of my new
hard disk!!

i have xp pro sp2 and it sees the full 320 GBs (in disk management),
but when i boot my pc in the bios screen it shows: 136 GB
"you could say where is the problem?? your xp sees it all..."
yes but when i try to create a new partition (whatever type), i cant
access it.
so 90% it's bios limitation.

please help me.
i cant find the site of lucky star...

RIP
Time to get a new motherboard

how much should i spend??
what model do you suggest??

i have an amd duron 850 mhz processor

help me guys.
thanks so much

What you buy and from where depends on your location.
You might have difficulty sourceing a socket A motherboard from the leading
manufacturers.

You might be wise to consider a 'bundle' that includes motherboard, cpu &
memory, assuming suppliers in your neck of the woods supply such.
I recently bought such for $100, to repair an old system

Why ask here? What MB you have/should buy has NOTHING to do with XP.

Ask elsewhere
